クウエート国籍のアーティスト。1983年セネガル生まれ。2010年東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科先端芸術表現領域博士後期課程修了。中東を中心に「悲しみの美意識」やジェンダー問題を取り上げ、宗教と文化的アイデンティティーが失われていく事を作品のモチーフにしている。2013年から「GCC」というアーティスト集団のメンバーになり、翌年ニューヨークのMOMA PS1で個展を行った。現在アムステルダムのアーティストレジデンス「ライクスアカデミー」を拠点としながら、世界各国で展示やレクチャーを行う。
